Project: Lebanese Ministry of Education, UNICEF and the American Lebanese Language Centre’s Accelerated Learning Program for out of school children (due to the high number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon).

The project aimed to develop the existing program by improving training, teaching methodology, quality of materials and assessment procedures.

 To enhance English teaching knowledge and skills, and testing knowledge and strategies among Ministry of Education personnel and teacher trainers

To devise and deliver training to pre-service and in-service primary and secondary teachers working in challenging low resource contexts

To mentor and monitor master and junior trainers as they implement large scale teacher training

To edit and write nationally administered English language exams for primary and secondary aged children

Project: Teacher Training - English for Iraq 2018

The delivery of training to both Primary and Secondary English language teachers from all regions in Iraq. The aim of the training workshops were to introduce/review teaching methodology and relate this specifically to course materials to be used in schools throughout the country.

Project: Accelerated Learning Programme for Syrian Refugee children in Lebanon

Assist in the development and implementation of the Teacher Training and Master Training Academies including delivery of teacher training sessions, materials prep, scheduling and logistics. 

Observe and provide written and oral feedback to public school teachers and or Master Trainers on their strengths and action points for more effective teaching/training. 

Connect each component of the Training Academies with the other components of the program and the overall goals of the project. 

Liaise with ALLC Expert Trainers to select and/or develop appropriate content and documents for teacher training and materials development
