Project: British Council Vietnam (for Laos)- Development of an English Language Strategic Planning Framework for the Lao educational curriculum

 

1)    Enhanced primary English teaching knowledge and skills among relevant Ministry of Education personnel and teacher trainers

2)    Provide training on Principles and Practices of Teaching English to Young Learners

3)    Support for completion of the English curriculum

4)    Provide training on how to write the curriculum and develop the teacher materials drawing upon CEFR framework

5)    Revisit and review current curriculum

6)    Ministry of Education staff, pre-service and in-service teacher educators understand the role and principles of the new curriculum and the role of setting and agreeing standards for teacher performance
