  1. KAPOW Learning Solutions UAE 2015 – Managed projects, designed and delivered trainings for teachers on English materials at CEFR A2 for vocational students accessing Higher College of Technology, UAE; Designed English language programme to deliver English for business, human resources, finance, IT.
  2. CfBT 2015 Colleges of Excellence Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2015. Delivered trainer trainings, wrote online language development programmes, mentored Improvement leads; Wrote reports for vocational colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  3. ERA Training Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2014 – 2015 – Delivered Trainer trainings and e-moderator training programmes for the Ministry of Labour; Consulted and developed CEFR A1 (accountancy, make-up & beauty, IT), A2, B1 online and blended courses, as well as ESP courses, for vocational colleges

Drama, music & storytelling

  1. British Council, Venezuela. Designed materials for Storytime to be delivered on community radio 2020 – see audio and radio materials above.
  2. British Council, Pakistan. 2015 Tell it Again! Trained teachers on methodology and approach of using stories as a supplement or substitution for a coursebook (pre-school and primary); designed and delivered trainings.

Refugee & asylum seekers language

This specialism includes accelerated language learning.

  1. Girls Education South Sudan (GESS 2)-Quality Education* Designed trainings and trained 30 national writers/trainers to develop a 60-hour Intensive English Course (IEC) to support a 2-year Accelerated English Programme for Primary teachers who have not completed their Secondary school education; 1) Scripted and sampled trainings and mentored trainers modifying IEC face-to-face training into delivery by radio broadcast/audio mp3 player; 2) Mentored national trainers to design assessment tools and analysis; 3) Provided capacity building activities for education managers and school communities.
    *part of the consortium lead by Mott Macdonald, with Windle Trust International, BBC Media Action, Leonard Cheshire, and Montrose

Audio and radio materials development in ELT (script writing; EDI)

  1. British Council, Sub-Saharan Africa 2013. Developed support materials for teachers using the digital audio bank of stories and songs from the British Council website, as well as integrating with the British Council CiPELT (Certificate in Primary English Language Teaching) course.
  2. Intensive English Course for Primary teachers 2019, to be delivered by audio/radio, Girls Education South Sudan (GESS2), a consortium led by Mott Macdonald, with Windle Trust International, BBC Media Action, Leonard Cheshire, and Montrose, South Sudan.
  3. British Council, Venezuela. 2020. Storytime to be delivered on community radio. Designed the framework and wrote the stories for 75 x 15-minute scripted bilingual radio story presentations for Grades 4 to 6 aligned to the coursebook. Focus on early literacy skills of letters and sounds. Rhymes, chants, and songs included. ​
